Building Survey – Dungannon, Co. Tyrone

Project Description

We were instructed by our client to complete a building survey and report for this residential property. This was a full building survey and completed over a four hour period (as opposed to a homebuyer survey which typically only takes 60-90 minutes). We only undertake full building surveys as we don’t feel it’s possible to gather sufficiently detailed information on the condition of a building in 60-90 minutes.
A number of issues were identified during our survey, which is typical for any building in our experience, particularly one of this age. These included poor insulation provision to some areas, hazardous & non-compliant oil tank arrangement, and deflected masonry supports to roof purlins to name a few.
We reported our findings to the client within 24 hours via telephone call, and followed up by issuing our written report electronically within 5 working days.
